Disruptive innovation of Zerodha

Abstract


This Research paper examines the quick rise to popularity of Zerodha, the biggest discount broker in India, following its path from start to present in the financial services industry. This research also examines Zerodha's creative business strategies which have helped the company to grow to the top of the Indian stockbroking sector. This research paper also discussed about marketing strategies and disruptive innovation used by Zerodha and about the milestones and growth of Zerodha over the years and how it differentiated itself from its competitors through pricing strategies and marketing they attained without spending money. Their business model is analyzed and how they generate revenue is also discussed in the paper. Graphical representation of their pricing plans and their revenue over the years is also done in this paper.

Zerodha is examined using Porter's Five Forces framework, SWOT analysis and PESTEL analysis. The paper concludes by focusing on Zerodha's success story as an appropriate example of how technology and customer service may change the financial services sector. It focuses on how crucial creativity and adaptation are to overcome barriers like changing laws and increasing cybersecurity risks. Ultimately, the study offers information on how to maintain Zerodha's rate of growth and satisfy changing consumer demands in the rapidly changing Indian market.
