Abstract
Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) has become an integral part of industrial applications, ensuring structural integrity, safety, and operational efficiency across various sectors. Unlike traditional destructive methods, NDT techniques allow for the evaluation of materials, components, and structures without compromising their usability. This review explores the significance of NDT, its advantages in industrial settings, and the diverse applications it serves, from aerospace and automotive to manufacturing and energy production. By leveraging methods such as ultrasonic testing, radiographic inspection, magnetic particle testing, and eddy current analysis, industries can enhance quality control, reduce downtime, and prevent catastrophic failures. The study further discusses emerging trends in NDT, including automation, artificial intelligence, and advanced sensor technologies, which are reshaping predictive maintenance strategies. This paper highlights the transformative impact of NDT on industrial efficiency, providing insights into future developments that will drive innovation and sustainability in engineering practices.
