Optimization of Governor Applications in Automated Systems

R S Yadav

Abstract

Governors play a pivotal role in maintaining the stability and performance of mechanical and automated systems by regulating speed and load fluctuations. This research explores the fundamental principles of governor mechanisms, their applications in industrial and modern automated systems, and the evolution of digital governors in robotics and IoT-based frameworks. A comparative study highlights the efficiency, response time, and accuracy of different governor types. Additionally, an optimized governor design for precision jobs is presented in this study, which has been verified by simulations and practical testing. The results help to improve control systems' flexibility and dependability in changing conditions.
