Hypertension: Integrating Modern Understanding with Homoeopathic Treatment
Abstract
Hypertension, commonly referred to as high blood pressure, is a global health problem associated with cardiovascular disorder, renal diseases, and neurological complications. Modern medicine provides symptomatic relief, but Homoeopathy approaches hypertension from holistic and individualized manner of treatment. In this article we try to discuss its management through homoeopathic philosophy, integrating the concepts of miasms, with totality of symptoms, selection of medicine through the concept of individualisation, as one person is quite different from another person in physical, mental, emotional, and social aspects.
