SMART TRAVELLING ASSISTANT

Abstract


The Smart Travelling Assistant is a web-based travel support system created to make planning and exploring destinations easier through intelligent automation and context-aware guidance. Developed with React JS for the frontend and Flask for the backend, it brings a wide range of travel services together on a single platform. It offers AI-based destination planning, real-time flight and hotel suggestions, booking of verified local guides, access to emergency hospitals nearby, and cultural insights that help travelers understand new places better. The system uses Geoapify and Google Maps API for location detection, while Gemini AI generates personalized cultural and dietary recommendations. To improve accessibility, it supports voice interaction, multilingual usage, and secure data exchange for safe communication. Altogether, the Smart Travelling Assistant becomes a reliable digital companion that assists travelers in planning, booking, and discovering destinations conveniently, safely, and confidently.
