Abstract


Dhatus are the body constituents which supports the body, nourishes the body and help it to grow. Dhatu supports life .There are seven dhatus in our body, they are Rasa dhatu, Rakta dhatu, Mamsa dhatu, Meda dhatu, Asthi dhatu, Majja dhatu,and Shukra dhatu. Dhatu supply nutrients, oxygen to our body, cover  and lubricates body , maintain body posture, fill up the cavities of the body and also helps in reproduction.
