A Specific Parameters of Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Include Epidemiology, Patho Physiology, Histo Pathology, Diagnosis, Differential Diagnosis and Treatment
Abstract
An abdominal aortic aneurysm is a life-threatening condition. Arterial aneurysms are narrated as a permanent localized dilatation of the vessel, enlarging by at least 150% compared to a relatively normal diameter of the adjacent artery. The abdominal aortic aneurysm is manifested by abnormal focal dilation of the abdominal aorta that may be determined in an incidental manner or at the time of rupture. Vigilant monitoring or treatment is needed depending on the size of the aneurysm and symptomatic presentation. Risk factors for abdominal aortic aneurysm are various parameters and include atherosclerosis (most common), smoking, advanced age, male gender, White race, family history of abdominal aortic aneurysm, hypertension, hypercholesterolemia as well as prior history of aortic dissection. This activity explains about comprehensive insights into the evaluation as well as management of abdominal aortic aneurysms and underscores the requirement for an interprofessional team approach to promote the rapid assessment, recognition, and treatment of abdominal aortic aneurysms. Healthcare professionals obtain knowledge and tools to promote patient outcomes for this life-threatening condition.
