Abstract

This paper explores the practical implications of corporate sustainability initiatives on workers within large corporations in Brazil. Through interviews with 10 companies, it addresses how organizational features influence sustainability efforts, introduces tensions into workers' routines, and highlights the necessity of integrating corporate culture, power relations, and broader socio-political contexts for genuine work sustainability.
