Self Tuning Fuzzy PI-PD Controller
Abstract
Self-Tuning Fuzzy Proportional Integral-Proportional Derivative (STFPI-PD) controller is a innovative controller that take the place of the PID controller with improved performance in a complicated scenario. In this paper, stability analysis will be carried on the STFPI-PD controller. The block diagram of the mentioned controller is constructed in MATLAB Simulink and further analysed using the function of Linear Analysis Tool. Various types of inputs were used to recognize the stability of STFPI-PD controller. Through this paper, the proper method to examine the stability of STFPI-PD controller was presented and showed the controller is able to maintain in stable condition under various inputs. The stability of the controller is recognized based on the stability criterion of Bode Plot and Pole-Zero Plots. Being a innovative controller, there was no proper stability analysis was carried out on STFPI-PD controller. This paper presents results that proves that STFPI-PD controller is stable, therefore can be confirmed to be functioning and safe to be commercialized.
