MRI and CT: A review

G. R. Rehman

Abstract

In the medical field, medical imaging plays a crucial role in disease diagnosis. A new image is created by combining useful information from two or more previously recorded medical images. Computed tomography (CT) provides information about hard tissues, while magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) provides brightness measurements of soft tissues. Using this method, the human brain can be analyzed without surgery. Skull segmentation analysis is used to locate a tumor-filled region in the extracted image. When diagnosing a tumor, precise location and area detection is crucial.  Tumors are classified according to their area using the Neuro–Fuzzy method. Additionally, the tumor's severity is recognized. The patient's condition is more critical if the area is larger.
