Review on Spray Powder Process of Additive Manufacturing
Abstract
Additive manufacturing (AM) is a rapidly growing sector in manufacturing technology, expected to reach a market value of $26.68 billion by 2027. It involves the layer-by-layer creation of objects from a 3D CAD model, contrasting with traditional subtractive manufacturing. This paper examines the spray powder processes in AM, including DED and 3D printing, highlighting their working principles, applicable materials, mechanical properties, and diverse future applications across industries.
