REAL-TIME MANPOWER HIRING PLATFORM FOR SERVICE-BASED JOBS

Sabitha K, Jayaprakash P

Abstract

JOB_DESK is a cross-platform, real-time manpower hiring application designed for service-based jobs of all scales in Tamil Nadu. The platform connects local job providers—including event organizers, caterers, decorators, and logistics coordinators—with nearby job seekers interested in short-term, part-time, or on-demand work. Built using Flutter and Firebase, JOB_DESK ensures seamless operation across Android, iOS, and web platforms, featuring dynamic data handling and secure user authentication. Job providers can post detailed listings specifying job type, location, salary, and cab arrangements, while job seekers can filter opportunities, apply, and receive real-time updates on their application status. A role-based matching system automatically closes job listings once the required number of workers is confirmed. The admin panel enables oversight of user activity, job verification, and dispute resolution. With real-time notifications, location-based filtering, and a scalable backend, JOB_DESK modernizes and streamlines the traditional manpower hiring process, making it more accessible and efficient for both providers and seekers.
