Abstract


AI governance frameworks like the EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and OECD principles consist of long and convoluted policy guidelines that pose a challenge to comprehend. However, we present an intelligent NLP-based tool called AI Governance Summarizer Bot to automatically summarize and extract key governance elements from lengthy regulatory documents. It uses transformer-based summarization models together with a rule-based governance knowledge base to produce accurate, structured, and domain-aware summaries. It minimizes manual reading effort and enhances policy understanding, thus assisting organizations with responsible AI compliance. Over 90% reduction in reading time and an accuracy score of 87%, as human evaluated, were obtained by testing. With this tool, one could realize very strong potential to support policymakers, researchers, and industries in interpreting AI governance and automating compliance.
