Manufacturing Efficiency through CAD and CAM Integration: A Case Study Analysis

P. A. Rotiwale

Abstract

The integration of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) has revolutionized the manufacturing industry by streamlining the design-to-production process, improving accuracy, and reducing time-to-market. This paper presents a comprehensive case study analysis on how CAD/CAM integration enhances manufacturing efficiency. By examining a specific industrial case, the study highlights the key benefits, challenges, and outcomes of implementing CAD/CAM systems. The findings demonstrate significant improvements in design precision, production speed, and overall cost-effectiveness. This research provides valuable insights for manufacturers aiming to optimize their operations through advanced design and manufacturing technologies.
