Stress Analysis in Spot Weld Section in Top Hat and Flat Plate Subjected to Tensile Load

Abstract


In this project we are going to analyse the tensile stress develop in spot weld section in top hat and flat plate of using ANSYS 11.0 software for analysis and Pro-E software for modelling in this the body is subject to static loading. The object mainly consists of two part i.e. top hat and flat plate which are joint together by using spot weld. Solid 187 elements is used for FE modelling. In this the analysis is carried out by F.E.M.
