Abstract

Digital Classroom is a comprehensive and interactive mobile application designed to modernize and simplify the educational experience for both students and teachers. Developed using Flutter for the front-end and Firebase for the back-end services, the application enables seamless cross-platform functionality across Android and iOS devices.
The app provides secure user authentication, allowing faculty and students to register and log in. Teachers can create multiple classrooms, post assignments, schedule lectures with video conferencing links, and share events, while students can enrol in classes, submit assignments, attend live sessions, and track upcoming deadlines — all within a unified platform. The integration of Firebase Firestore and Firebase Storage ensures real-time synchronization of data, secure storage of user-generated content, and efficient management of multimedia files, such as PDFs and images. Furthermore, the application features video conferencing capabilities powered by Jitsi Meet, enabling live, interactive learning sessions with integrated whiteboard support. Assignments allow for PDF uploads, and event scheduling is linked with notifications for timely updates. The project emphasizes scalability, data security, and a smooth user experience with a visually appealing and responsive UI. Digital Classroom is not just a teaching tool but a complete learning management solution designed to bridge gaps between remote education, resource sharing, and student engagement, fostering a collaborative digital learning environment.
