EnActor: A Plan for a Software for Whole-Body Interaction Design

Kavita Dhiman

Abstract

I have studied the requirements of musicians, dancers, performers, and choreographers and identified various design strategies for the realization of Whole Body Interactive (WBI) performance systems through a series of collaborative research projects that utilized Orient, a wireless, inertial sensor-based motion capture system. This has allowed me to envision how a WBI scheme might function within the context of the performance arts. EnActor, a prototype of Whole Body Interaction Design software, was the result of the knowledge and experience gained. The product has been acknowledged as an assortment of modules that were demonstrated significant for the plan of intuitive execution frameworks that are straightforwardly constrained by the body.
