Plan and Investigation of construction of roll confine for SUPRA SAE: A Survey

Abstract

This paper includes an itemized writing concentrate on the plan and examination of a roll confine structure for Supra SAE. A challenging environment in which a student of engineering can practice and improve a variety of engineering skills is provided by Formula SUPRA (SAE) competitions. This builds the down to earth and application situated approach towards a genuine designing. The 3D CAD model of the roll cage will be modelled using Solidworks software, and the FEA analysis will be done using Nastran. This paper focuses on the study of the overall design procedure of the roll cage of a SAE vehicle from start to finish as well as the Finite Elemental Analysis (static and dynamic) of it, which was carried out in previous literatures.
