Digital Learning Platforms for Rural Education: A Case Study of Nabha

Abstract


Students in Nabha and other rural areas are still having restricted access to high-quality online learning because insufficient digital tools, a lack of infrastructure, and inadequate training for teachers. The study examines current digital platforms for education and assesses their appropriateness for rural school settings, with a focus on learning surroundings in Nabha. It looks into the main limitations, including a shortage of gadgets, erratic internet, and inadequate instruction readiness as well as the lack of locally relevant content. The Digital platforms can improve learning, according to analysis. Pedagogical challenges in accessibility and engagement Infrastructure is taken care of. According to the study, learning outcomes for rural students in Nabha can be significantly improved by implementing a localized strategy that incorporates infrastructure improvement, teacher development, and culturally appropriate design. Less than 40% of Indian schools have dependable internet access, which restricts the use of digital learning resources, according to UNESCO.
