ARITIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE: BENEFITS AND RISKS
Abstract
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the science of creating intelligent machines capable of reasoning, learning, perception, and problem-solving. Over the past decades, AI has transitioned from a conceptual idea to a critical technological advancement that is revolutionizing various industries. AI systems can now analyze vast amounts of data, predict outcomes, and automate complex processes. The continuous growth of AI promises to reshape industries and improve efficiency, but it also presents ethical and societal challenges that must be addressed. Under- standing AI’s capabilities, applications, and risks is essential to harness its potential responsibly. As AI continues to evolve, its integration into daily life becomes more prevalent, influencing sectors from healthcare to entertainment. AI-powered algorithms can now drive cars, compose music, diagnose diseases, and even engage in human-like conversations. The debate over AI’s ethical implications and long-term impact intensifies as organizations and governments strive to balance innovation with responsibility. Examining AI’s methodologies, applications, and risks provides a comprehensive understanding of its transformative power and necessary safeguards.
