Evaluating the Effectiveness of JobHubs in Matching Job Seekers with Employment Opportunities Using Web Design
Abstract
This paper presents a conceptual research framework to evaluate the effectiveness of "JobHubs," a hypothetical online job matching platform, specifically through the lens of its web design. The study argues that a platform's design is not merely aesthetic but a critical determinant of user experience, which in turn significantly influences its ability to successfully match job seekers with employment opportunities. By analyzing key web design principles—usability, accessibility, and content quality—this research proposes a methodology to quantify and assess the impact of these elements on user engagement, job application rates, and ultimately, successful employment outcomes. The findings will provide actionable insights for improving online job portals and highlight the importance of human-centered design in the digital recruitment landscape.
