Abstract

Technology has the potential to overtake the materialistic sector due to the increasing demand for speedier production without sacrificing product quality. The internet of things is one such technology that is used to automate, connect, and share data with other devices. Our research makes advantage of this technology to build an automatic color sorting machine that stores and exchanges data with devices in addition to categorizing objects based on color. Servo motors utilized in the separating process are detected by a color sensor. The sensor and actuator are coordinated by the Node Micro Controller Unit (NodeMCU), which also transmits data to the cloud via its built-in Wireless Fidelity (Wi-Fi). The user is given an interface that makes it simple for him to view the data at any time of day. The sorting machine is designed to sort items with the least amount of time and electricity. Because of its great interoperability and dependability, the machine is perfect for both small and large-scale companies. Without requiring human intervention, this approach drastically reduces time and costs.
