Smart Home Automation Using Li-Fi Technology: A Novel Approach for IoT Integration and Data Communication
Abstract
Li-Fi (Light Fidelity) technology offers a promising alternative to conventional wireless communication technologies such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth in smart home environments. By leveraging visible light communication (VLC), Li-Fi enables secure, high-speed, and interference-free data transmission. This paper explores the integration of Li-Fi in smart home automation, detailing its system design, implementation, and analytical survey of performance. The study identifies challenges, research directions, and potential improvements, paving the way for enhanced IoT integration and energy efficiency in home automation systems.
