Abstract


The rapid advancements in Internet of Things (IoT) technology have transformed industries, including logistics and delivery systems. This research explores the integration of IoT in autonomous logistics and drone delivery systems, emphasizing its role in optimizing operational efficiency, enhancing real-time data management, and ensuring robust supply chain resilience. By leveraging IoT-enabled devices and sensors, logistics operations can achieve unprecedented levels of automation, tracking, and coordination. The study investigates the challenges of implementing IoT in autonomous logistics, including cybersecurity risks, data interoperability, and regulatory compliance. Furthermore, it examines the use of IoT in drone delivery systems, focusing on route optimization, load management, and safety protocols. A case study methodology is employed to analyze real-world applications of IoT in autonomous delivery operations, showcasing their impact on reducing delivery times, costs, and carbon emissions. The findings highlight IoT's transformative potential in shaping the future of logistics and delivery systems, paving the way for a more sustainable and efficient global supply chain.
