E-COMMERCE SITE FOR HANDCRAFT PRODUCTS
Abstract
This project presents the development of an e-commerce web application tailored for handcrafted products, designed to connect artisans directly with customers in a seamless, user-friendly platform. The application is built using a modexrn technology stack comprising HTML, CSS, Material UI, React for the frontend, and Express.js with Node.js for the backend. The site features a responsive design, intuitive user interface, product browsing and filtering, user authentication, shopping cart functionality, and order management. By focusing on handcrafted items, the platform supports local artisans and small businesses, promoting sustainable and personalized shopping experiences. The project demonstrates full-stack web development skills and highlights the integration of frontend and backend technologies to create a functional and visually appealing online marketplace.
