Smart Self-Defense Gadget for Women ‘s Safety Using Embedded C, Arduino IDE.

Abstract


In the contemporary era, the safety of women has emerged as a critical concern, preventing them from freely venturing out due to the pervasive threat of physical and sexual abuse. Despite the rapid advancements in technology and the creation of new devices, women and girls continue to grapple with safety issues in the 21st century. These challenges persist irrespective of ethnic, religious, political, and cultural boundaries, highlighting the urgent need for collective efforts to champion their freedom. Although we recognize the significance of women's safety, it is imperative to delve deeper into ensuring their comprehensive protection. Women, not being as physically robust as men, often find themselves vulnerable in emergency situations, necessitating a supportive hand. The development of innovative solutions becomes paramount in addressing these concerns. In scenarios where women may find themselves separated from friends during a night out, navigating unfamiliar territories, a reliable device can serve as a safeguard, significantly diminishing their risk and providing assistance when needed. The importance of such a device becomes apparent in instances where women may be stranded or lost, unsure of how to find their way back home. This technology not only acts as a protective measure but also as a beacon for seeking help. By leveraging these applications and devices, we can actively contribute to reducing the prevalent challenges surrounding women's safety.
